We believe a competition should be transparent and free from external influence. And all entries reviewed and assessed by quality judges. Meet the esteemed judges for Tetsujin, both of whom bring a wealth of experience and a reputation for excellence in this field.

NAOKI - Gunpla Maestro: Renowned for his mastery in the art of Gunpla building, Mr Naoki stands as a living legend in the Gunpla community. With decades of experience, he has pushed the boundaries of creativity and precision in plastic model craftsmanship. Naoki's works have graced the covers of leading Gunpla magazines, and his innovative techniques have inspired a new generation of builders. As a seasoned judge, he brings a discerning eye for detail, advocates high quality finishing and a commitment to recognizing the next wave of Gunpla talent.  He is involved in the design and production of various hobby products, as well as the magazine "GUNDAM HOBBY LIFE", "ROBOT HOBBY LIFE", and the tool brand NAZCA. Most recently, he conceptualised, designed and produced the original model series TITANOMACHIA, and has collaborated with various brands on this project.


EDAY NG - Gunpla Virtuoso: Eday is a celebrated figure in the world of Gunpla, known for his exquisite attention to detail and dedication to design innovation. With numerous awards and many books published, Eday has established himself as one of the leading authority in the Gunpla community. his series of titles inluding "Ver.Ed | Anthology", is a favourite among many hobbyists and collectors. As a judge, Eday emphasizes creativity, story-telling, and the ability to evoke emotion through  representations. His discerning eye and extensive knowledge make him an invaluable asset to any Gunpla competition.

ERIC YAP - Gunpla Master: Eric is a highly decorated modeler in his own right.  A strong advocate for fundamentals, he place emphasis on basic skills and strong foundation and should be priorities for all modelers. As one of prominent figures in Malaysia's Gunpla community, he has been involved in organizing events, workshops, and competitions, helping to promote Gunpla as a popular pastime in Malaysia. His contributions have fostered a vibrant community of enthusiasts, and he often shares his skills and techniques through social media and local gatherings.

Together, this trio brings a combination of innovation, tradition, and a commitment to excellence that will elevate the Tetsujin competition to new heights. As participants showcase their skills, they can rest assured that their creations will be evaluated by two of the most respected and experienced figures in the world of Gunpla.
